Patients

We are focused on one goal:

Advancing novel therapeutics with the potential to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with difficult-to-treat cancers and other serious diseases.

Clinical Trials

Today, patients all over the world are participating in our clinical trials. Learn more about participating in the clinical trial process and find a Zymeworks trial near you.

Biliary tract cancers are rare tumors that affect the bile ducts inside and outside the liver (cholangiocarcioma) or the gall bladder (gall bladder cancer).

Breast cancer is a type of cancer that occurs when cells of the breast grow uncontrollably.

Gastroesophageal adenocarcinomas (GEAs) are cancers that begin in the stomach (gastric), esophagus, and/or gastroesophageal junction.

Other types of cancers can also express too much human epidermal growth factor receptor 2, or HER2, a protein normally involved in cell growth.

Learn about clinical trials

Clinical trials are scientific studies conducted, by doctors, to determine how well a new treatment works and if it has any side effects in people. The goal is to improve public health by finding better ways to prevent, screen for, diagnose, and treat disease. People can participate in clinical trials as patients or healthy volunteers1.

Clinical trials are the final step in a long process, which typically takes over a decade and begins with discoveries made in a research laboratory2. All approved medicines have been tested in clinical trials and are regulated by health authorities, such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Medical Agency (EMA).

To participate in a clinical trial, please contact your doctor.
