Zymeworks Announces Collaborative Research Agreement

Dr. Surjit Dixit Joins Zymeworks
July 1st, 2007Zymeworks is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Surjit Dixit as a Molecular Simulation Scientist to its team. Dr. Dixit completed his Ph.D. in chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) researching the interaction and binding energies in protein-DNA complexes. Most recently, Dr. Dixit completed a Post-Doctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. D.L. Beveridge at Wesleyan University.
Dr. Tom Rodinger Joins Zymeworks
May 30th, 2007Zymeworks is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Tom Rodinger as a Molecular Simulation Scientist to its team. Dr. Rodinger completed his Ph.D. in computational biophysics at the University of Toronto researching efficient free energy simulations for structure based drug design.

Dr. Paula Lario Joins Zymeworks
May 1st, 2007Zymeworks is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Paula Lario to its team. Dr. Lario brings significant experience and skills in the field of Enzyme Engineering to Zymeworks. She obtained her Ph.D. in 2003 from McGill University in protein crystallography, and most recently completed a post doctoral fellowship in Dr. Natalie Strynadka's laboratory at the Department of Biochemistry at the University of British Columbia.
Mr. Neil Klompas CA, Joins Zymeworks
April 19th, 2007Zymeworks is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Neil Klompas CA to its management team in the newly created position of Director of Finance and Operations. Mr. Klompas brings over 15 years of biotechnology and life sciences experience to the Company, and was most recently with KPMG LLP, having worked with KPMG's Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology and Medical Device Transaction Services practice in Princeton, New Jersey, and KPMG's Canadian Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals practice in Vancouver, BC. Mr. Klompas is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Chartered Accountants of British Columbia, and holds a BSc from the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Tom Woo Joins Zymeworks Scientific Advisory Board
March 15th, 2007Zymeworks is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Tom K. Woo to its Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Woo is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa's Centre for Catalysis Research and Innovation and the Department of Chemistry. He obtained his Ph.D. in 1998 at the University of Calgary with famed theoretical chemist, Professor Tom Ziegler where he helped pioneer the development and application of combined QM/MM methods for modelling transition metal based catalysis.
